Welcome to ART CARDS, a Creative Art Group facilitated in Bellingen on the Mid-North Coast, where we come together to see, create, share, listen and reflect. Art Cards are a beautiful, projective tool designed to spark ideas through drawing and discussion. The cards we use in this group are not tarot cards; they are art cards, thoughtfully created by artists to evoke a wide range of emotions and facilitate the exploration of your inner world.

In our sessions, we won’t focus on what we’re creating or our artistic skills but on how we feel during the process. The cards help you connect with themes such as identity, relationships, death, change, fear, transition, sickness, strength, and hope.
For example; through the imagery found in "the river" card set —its ever-changing banks, the animals and objects around it, and the atmosphere it inhabits—you’ll find a way to express, release, and transform your emotions on paper using the art cards as a prompt. This space allows you to sit with your feelings, without the need to intellectualise them, simply allowing yourself to feel and just be.
What you need to bring: blank paper + something to colour/draw/paint with.
